Rosie's Monster Making workshop with Illustrator of The Gruffalo Axel Scheffler
Rosie was asked by Pick Me up graphic art festival to host a workshop in the festivals dedicated events space with none other than Axel Scheffler Illustrator of The Gruffalo.
The audience was treated to a live drawing by Axel and a reading from Zog. We then turned to our own imaginations to see what monsters we could find and got busy ripping sticking, tearing, sharing, doodling and colouring in until we had ourselves a room filled with man made monsters! Each with a very unique story to tell.
After the workshop some lucky people had their books signed by Axel and he even drew an animal from the book on each and every one. Axel kindly drew The Gruffalo in the story book Rosie used in the workshop and entitled it To the Winner.... to be in with a chance of winning this signed copy follow @rosietellstales on twitter !
