Festivals, libraries, events,

Welcome, I'm Rosie and for almost 10 years I've been working under the pseudonym Rosie Tells Tales, as a professional Storyteller and Creative Learning Producer based in London.

I've been commissioned to dream up and tell tales of all shapes and sizes, but you can expect many magic moments, lots of laughter and some surprises!

As well as my own stories I'm often trusted to produce learning experiences inspired by beloved picture books including; Judith Kerr's The Tiger Who Came to Tea ( Kenny Wax Productions) and Janet and Allan Ahlberg's The Jolly Postman ( Penguin Random House and The Postal Museum.) Currently shortlisted for a Museum and Heritage Award,

Since 2010 telling tales has taken me to palaces, museums, schools, symposiums, festivals, farms, galleries, theatres, hospitals, libraries and the occasional War ship.

Enjoy browsing this tiny section of cyberspace and get in touch to talk tales, collaborations and commissions.

" I was extremely impressed by Rosie's workshop. She devised and led the activity and paced it to ensure everyone was involved and engaged throughout. The activity was very successful."

Rosie was like a breath of fresh air when she entered the school. She catered her workshops all the way from Nursery to Year 6, honing in on different working styles and celebrating each individual's creative ability. The content of the workshops was fun, engaging and left both teachers and students alike feeling enthused and refreshed to take on creative challenges.

The children were absolutely  spellbound, Rosie's empowered them to see themselves as authors, the activities were a hit and her energy was infectious.

"Rosie came highly recommended and we can now highly recommend her too. Her events proved very popular and, as an integral part of our children’s programme, contributed to a more-than 100% increase in young visitors with many repeat visits. As emcee, Rosie was a valuable asset to the organising team, adapting quickly to requirements, keeping our young audience invested and bringing another layer of professionalism. We will certainly welcome the opportunity to work with Roise again in the future."

               - Peter Jones, Creative Director, Isle of Man Cyclefest

"I want to say a BIG thank you for last Friday's Story Building Sessions. The children and staff loved It ! You certainly inspired the children to use their imaginations and develop their writing skills. The children were bubbling with ideas and you could tell they were itching to get their ideas down on paper."

“Rosie Tells Tales was a fantastic addition to the Teddy Bear Picnic tent at our Summer Mile Family Raceday.  she is very popular with our younger guests.”
